At Mote Park

Being a versatile environment, Mote Park really does have something for everyone. Whether it’s walking through the Park, Segwaying around, or hopping on the model railway, there are a wealth of things you can do to fill a day.

Operated by the Segway Events, Segways are available for hire around a dedicated course for one week every month. Please check their website for dates and availability.

Model Railway

This is run by the Maidstone Model Engineering Society. In the summer, it is open to the public every Sunday and on bank holidays between 2.30pm and 5pm. For up to date timings and costs please visit the Maidstone Model Engineering Society’s site.

Children’s Play Areas

Four children’s play areas including a natural woodland play area for ages 8 to 15 years and a skate park

Tree Walks
